Our bodies are natural record keepers. Every late-night email, unspoken frustration, and chemical stressor we encounter doesn't simply vanish - it settles. Over time, these daily burdens accumulate as subtle tension along the spine, quietly disrupting the nervous system's natural flow and leaving us feeling disconnected.

In Spinal Flow, the body is supported through seven key gateways along the spine. Each gateway relates to different nerves, organs, physical symptoms and emotional stress patterns.
When stress builds in the body, these gateways can become blocked. By gently opening them, the nervous system can begin to restore flow, balance and healing.
By bringing awareness to these seven vital intersections of the spine, we invite the nervous system to release stored tension, allowing the body’s natural healing wave to flow unobstructed.

Anchoring the spine at the coccyx, this gateway holds our foundational sense of safety, physical stability, and deep-rooted grounding.
A grounding center that supports emotional steadiness and a secure base for movement and rest.
Positioned in the lower back, releasing this area renews personal power and inner drive.
Centered around the heart and lungs, this gateway allows for deep, unhindered breath and emotional openness.
Located in the neck and throat, focusing here dissolves tension related to self-expression and holding one’s truth.
Where the spine meets the skull, this junction promotes clarity, intuitive insight, and relief from mental overactivity.
Encompassing the crown, clearing this final gateway allows the healing wave to complete its journey, resulting in profound relaxation and systemic harmony.

Each person responds differently, and healing can unfold over time.

Rooted in a profound understanding of the human nervous system, Dr. Carli Axford developed the Spinal Flow Technique to facilitate deep, restorative healing. This methodology honors the body's innate intelligence, allowing it to transition organically from a state of stress to deep ease.

I’ve been working in the world of bodywork, healing and wellbeing for over 10 years, supporting people to feel better in their bodies, reduce stress and reconnect with themselves.
My journey began through massage therapy, where I saw first-hand how much tension, pain and emotional stress the body can hold. Over the years, this led me to explore deeper approaches that work not only with muscles, but with the nervous system and the body’s natural ability to heal.
In early 2026, I became certified in Spinal Flow Technique, a gentle yet powerful modality that helps release stress patterns held within the spine and nervous system. I was drawn to Spinal Flow because it works with the body in a calm, intelligent and non-forceful way — creating real change through safety, flow and connection.
My approach is grounded, intuitive and compassionate. I understand that every person arrives carrying their own life experiences, stress and challenges, which is why sessions are always tailored to you as an individual.
Whether you are dealing with pain, anxiety, burnout, fatigue or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my intention is to create a space where your body can exhale, unwind and begin to restore balance.
Healing doesn’t always need to be forceful. Sometimes the body simply needs the right support to remember what wellness feels like.
I’d love to welcome you to Flow Body Clinic.
Our approach relies on gentle, precise contacts that communicate absolute safety to your nervous system. By identifying and releasing blockages without force or adjustment, the body naturally unwinds, restoring the fluid motion of energy and encouraging lasting wellbeing.

Initial consultations and assessments usually take about 45 to 60 minutes. Standard follow-up healing sessions are typically shorter, lasting around 30 minutes.
Not at all. Spinal Flow is incredibly gentle and completely non-invasive. There is no heavy manipulation, cracking, or forceful adjustment involved.
No special preparation is required. We simply ask that you arrive a few minutes early to settle in, take a deep breath, and allow your nervous system to begin relaxing.
You may feel deeply relaxed, slightly sleepy, or experience a gentle surge of energy. We recommend drinking plenty of water and allowing yourself time to rest if needed.
Step into a space of profound relaxation. Honor your body’s natural ability to heal, restore your vital energy flow, and experience a renewed sense of true well-being.
